The South Grenville Rangers would like to announce our entire staff will be returning for a third season in 2020/2021.

Head Coach Ron Harrison, Assistant Coach Duane 'Bull' VandenAnker, Goalie Coach Richard Joudoin, Trainer Sam Rapin, and myself as General Manager/Assistant Coach will be looking to lead our squad to another NCJHL Regular Season Championship. Only this time we hope we will get to finish what we started.

In only two years this staff has helped build a winning program amassing a 53-14-3 record, and continued that success in the playoffs by adding 12 wins with only 4 losses. Coach Ron has been named Coach of the Year in back to back seasons, and I was fortunate enough to win Executive of the Year this past season. We both agree that these accomplishments are strictly a reflection of our entire staff, and also the talented group of players we have the pleasure of coaching.

Team Captain Brody Ranger had this to say; "Knowing our entire staff is wanting to be back puts us one step ahead for the upcoming season. They all work extremely hard to not only get the players needed to win, but also put the systems in place to give us a shot at what we have all fought so hard for these past few years. Talking to the guys I know how grateful they are and everyone is ready to buy in so we can take another step forward as a team."

Coaches are typically measured by wins and losses but the most successful teams are built on much more. Being the best team to me isn’t as simple as winning championships, and it’s not as simple as having the best team on paper. To me being the best organization in the NCJHL is about doing things the right way and working together to build something the South Grenville community can be proud of.
